Palhares banned from the UFC for life C11

At Wednesday`s night's UFC Ultimate Fight Night 29 Rousimar Palhares defeated Mike Pierce with a heel hook submission in the first round. Palhares held the submission after Pierce tapped and even as the ref tried to stop break up the fighters. There is no word yet on any injuries received by Pierce in the bout. Palhares had previously had the same issue in other bouts, but this is the last time it will happen in the UFC, as Dana White has banned him from the organization:
